This stunning little boutique beauty salon and day spa, located in the heart of Melton Mowbray, is a real gem. From Massages and facials, Manicures and Pedicures, Botox and Fillers, Ear piercing, Lashes and brows, Makeup tutorials and Day Spa packages, you will be completely looked after. There’s even high end beauty brands stocked within, in skin care and makeup. This fabulous business are well deserved winners of multiple awards, including the most recent: ‘Best Day Spa in Leicestershire and Rutland’ from Muddy Stilettos in 2021. Owner, Sophie, has been perfecting everything that she can offer to her customers for nearly 10 years – her experience and well thought out details are proof of her passion and dedication.
Classic Day Spa Package Review
I was invited to try out the ‘Classic Day Spa Package’ with a friend of mine, which included all of this:
Full, private access of the Day Spa area Ferneleys Dairy Farm Mini Milkshake on arrival Unlimited Tea and Coffee Robe, Slippers and Towels included Sauna Shower Facilities Choice of Elemis Treatment
For the treatment, we chose the ‘Elemis Deep Tissue Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage’ (friend’s choice) and the ‘Elemis Best Foot Forward’ (my choice).
On arrival, we were given a tour of the Day Spa area and all of the facilities included (see photos above) We placed our clothing in a handy cupboard, under the sink, and got into the soft robes and slippers provided.
We enjoyed our afternoon tea (£9 per person) which consisted of: 1 triangle sandwich each (cheese and pickle, pulled ham and cream cheese with cucumber), 2 scones each, clotted cream and jam.
My friend had a lot of knots in her shoulders (there was some crunching going on!) and she felt like a new woman after Becky kneaded them all out.
My foot treatment was a completely new experience for me, and one that I wouldn’t normally try, but I never look after my feet and I really should (seeing as though we use them all day, everyday!) I was scrubbed, bathed and massaged from the tips of my toes to just below my knees and it was incredible – I felt and smelt lovely!
I love a good sauna and this one is no exception – it’s clearly well made and of high quality! You can change the timer and heat by yourself and it was the perfect size for both of us to sit in there and chat, in comfort.
Lastly, good customer service means so much to me and I will always give credit where that’s deserved. I have only great things to say about how well we were looked after. Honestly, it was amazing. From the big smiles we were greeted with, to Becky showing us around and being a wonderful host – I was so impressed!
I have already recommended this by word of mouth to family and friends – I think it would be an amazing gift to receive for a special occasion as a group activity eg. hen do/birthday/mother’s day etc
