Original artwork by Kevin Becken. Printed onto textured fine art watercolour paper, using archival quality prints projected lifespan in excess of 100 years in normal conditions.
About the artist and this work
I started drawing as soon as I could pick up a pencil. Cartoons were my favourite things to draw because to me they were more amusing and imaginative than still life. Art continued as a hobby as I developed a career in cartography and geographic information systems.
The Cartoon Map of Leicestershire combines my lifelong love of maps and cartoons. I researched things that make Leicestershire notable, and discovered a richer history than I had imagined! Settlements dating from the Iron Age, Roman roads, discoveries of worldwide significance, famous people from the worlds of science and entertainment, manufacturing giants… most of which is included here.
This limited edition giclée print is signed and issued by me, the artist.

Shipping costs will be dependent upon the size of the artwork. Costs are included in the product description, but may change for special requests. Please feel free to contact us for a quote.
Refund Policy
If you've ordered a stock item that turns out to be unsuitable you are more than welcome to return the item for a refund. Please ensure that the products arrive with us in their original saleable condition and within 30 days from receipt of your order. Please bear in mind that we are unable to refund any postage costs.
Please note that made-to-measure frames, bespoke canvases, and special order items are non-returnable unless faulty.

Amending or Cancelling an Order

Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please check your parcel when it arrives. If you've received an order that contains damaged goods or is missing an item, please get in touch as soon as you can with a photograph of the damage. We will replace missing or damaged products without further charge and do everything we can to put it right for you as quickly as possible.
